This is just the most fascinating remake of space invaders i have ever seen or played. it is so much fun and so addicting.

it is published by Square Enix( publish not developed) it was developed by Taito Corporation.

the basis of this game like any other space invaders is to destroy all the invaders before they kill you. same concept but revamped. same graphics used keeping the nice old school feel but amazeing back grounds full of light and movement just like a rave in your hands. and the music is what makes it. everytime you shoot it makes music , so what you get is this retro style game with tripy back ground and this cool trance/techno beat that just gets you  hooked. I was completley blown away just by these facts and was instantly hooked. each level containing a new beat to be played and a new horde of smart invaders to kill.

the game play like I said is very similiar to what we are used to in a space invaders game. move back and forth and fire at the same time. game speed was uped tremedously and add that with the music and back ground becomes this very intense fast pace kill or be killed game. It has the basic choose your stage concept so a few play throughs are needed to unlock at the levels for the select a stage mood you gain after just playing one level. The fast pace gameing is enhanced by power ups that you can get. these power ups are to your guns. You can get a massive beam that destorys everything on contact and you can hold and move your ship back and forth but at a slwoer rate. as well as a bomb which destorys everything in the proximity and lastly but not least is the spread shot which is a basic spread shot and kills 4-6 enemies in one shot. through out a stage you face off against many diffrent types of invaders. ones that explode ones that multiply ones that have shileds ones that take up half your screen and the list goes on. as well as bosses at the end of every stage which calls for a more interesting and fun gameplay experience.  there are diffren modes to play in like the classic arcade and slect a stage. there is also a world wide ranking system where you play a level and post high scores which could be entertaining but also very tedious.  now on to scoreing system and i must say ive never felt so proud of myself. the score has a very high number and at first glance you feel like you acomplished something which i think most games should adopt.

the one thing i think i want to complain about is the difficulty level and it ranges from rather boring to the hell was i just shot by. I think thats my only complain. o and dont play it if you have seizures that would be bad. it is really flashy.

But all in all space invaders extremes surpasses its brethren of games in the  highest degree of awesomeness and amazeingness that it is most deffinetly a buy. a very simple game that one can just pass 10-15 min or even hours working on high scores and just hearing some awesome music. and its a bargin for 20 bucks it can deffinetly hold majority of people until a more desired game comes out such as final fantasy tactics and alone in the dark. cuase i can deffinetly say that I am held over until i can get my copies.
